Theoadore Rosevelt National Park
There is a North unit and a South unit both have extensive Horse
trial system's, the South unit has campground.
The CCC campground, which is a USFS
campground on the Little Missouri National Grasslands.
CCC is 15 miles south of Watford City, about 1.3 miles
west of highway 85 on the Scoria road immediately south
of the Long X bridge. Its just south across the river
from the North unit of the Theodore Roosevelt National
park.
CCC is an open campground at the north trail
head of the MaahDaah Hey trail (a trail about 120 miles
long that connects the north and south units of the Theodore Roosevelt National
park) and there is also a marked 12 mile loop trail,
and the Long X trail at CCC.

Little Missouri State Park
Killdeer: It is located about 23 miles north of Killdeer. Over 30 miles of trail, plus
camping sites, corrals and water.

Sheyenne National Grasslands
Lisbon, North Country National Scenic Trail" has a 25 mile segment that crosses these grasslands.

Sully Creek State Recreation Site
Sully Creek State Park: Horse and Mule campground, locate 3 miles South
of Medora, North Dakota. Starting point for the Maah Daah Hey Trail.
Connecting trails to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and National
Grasslands. Primitive campground with horse corrals, water, tabels and
fire rings. Little Missouri River boarders it all levels of riding

Little Missouri Bed and Corral
Little Missouri Bed and Corral: Located 1 mile south of Medora, North
Dakota. Two bedroom, clean, cozy cabin with horse corrals. Cabin sleeps
6 with washer and dryer, full kitchen, fire place, indoor plumbing,
shower, and fully furnished. Connecting trails to Theodore Roosevelt
National Park, Maah Daah Hey trail system, National Grasslands, and
Historic Medora. A wonderful place to spend a nite or a month.

Lone Butte Ranch
McKenzie Co.: Lone Butte Ranch located in the badlands in McKenzie Co. ND - near the North Unit of
Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
We offer two fully furnished log cabins on our ranch - each private - and
each has newly built pens for horses. Small groups only. We border the
Little Missouri National Grasslands - which is open to public riding. Our
private land is also available for our guests to ride and explore. We are a
cattle ranch. The Maah Daah Hey trail is about 15 miles from our ranch.

Medora: We run the Bar X Ranch just south of Medora. We offer cabin and corrals. Located right
along the Little Missouri River snuggled in the cotton woods. Cabin is fully furnished,
we have a shower house with shower toilet and sink. We also offer a hot tub for our
guests, and electric hook-ups. The Maah Daah Hey trail runs right threw our
ranch. We also have corrals for horses.

We have unmarked, natural cattle/deer trails on our ranch for trail riders. We also have a guest cabin that
is very remote and secluded - three miles from ranch headquarters.
We take only one group of guests at a time so the trails are uncrowded. We have corrals and fresh spring

North Park Campground
Dickinson: Quiet area to picket horses on a large grassy field. RV camp sites with full hook-ups
available and plenty of room for big rigs.
Theodore Roosevelt National Park is just 35 minutes from here and it is a beautiful place to ride.
From I-94, exit 61, head North 1/2 mile on Highway 22 to 21st Street. Go East on 21st Street
1/2 mile to 5th avenue East and go 1 block North. Turn right on Chestnut Lane.
